Streams Voice

In the dimly lit forest, cloaked by branches,
a river jets through grassy vales; water intercepted by
the hissing of foaming falls.

Along the valley, moss
envelops rocks and bark alike, branches cast arbitrary shadows, birdsong croons above the swift stream’s voice.

Holocaust DenialBelgium, France, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Germany, Israel, Poland, Slovakia and Austria all share an atrocity; each of them has legislation curbing freedom of speech. The legislation was intended to ensure that the Holocaust is not forgotten, but in effect these laws curtail peoples’ rights exactly as the Nazis did; using the same methods to suppress Neo-Nazi propaganda.

At face value these laws appear rational. It is, after all, important that we do not forget our history and that history is not twisted by the political motivations of people whose arguments have little rational weight to them; this is particu Holocaust Denial
